I've heard it many times that money doesn't buy happiness. Chapter 2 from the book of Ecclesiastes certainly tells us that. We look to so many earthly things to bring us pleasure. From food and drink, to physical possessions like a large house and property, to having the desires of every man (or woman) when it comes to sexual pleasures.
When it comes to work and money, you save and save, and to what end? So people will spend all of your money when you are dead. You can't control what these people do. Even if you work smart, when you leave someone else may not do as good a job as you.
Only God gives wisdom, knowledge, and joy to those to please Him.
Enjoy what God has given you.
Enjoy it by honoring Him and all of His Glory.
